Out are the AMG OZ’s and in are the AC Schnitzer Type 1’s. What I would do to have a set of those wheels…
I love how all the generations of the 911 have retained that intrinsic Porsche shape and look. Jeremy Clarkson may call it laziness, but I can respect a company that always remembers who they are and where they came from.
Intended to be the Mercedes 300SL rival, the 507 unfortunately drove BMW further into bankruptcy due to it’s high price (cost around $10,000 USD in mid 1950). Regardless, the 507 is one of the prettiest cars to ever come from Munich and along with the 300SL it’s one of the prettiest in automotive history.
Why is it so confusing? Because the headlight controls, windshield wiper control, engine start button, suspension/ride control and even the turn signals are all mounted on the steering wheel. You know..the part that turns and moves as you drive. I guess Ferrari is too trendy for indicator or windshield wiper stalks.
